Celebrating its 25th year, the 2012 Tokyo International  Film Festival (TIFF) is an aspiring film festival, playing an integral role in Japan’s film industry and cultural scene with the determination to be recognized as one of the four major film festivals of the world – Cannes, Venice and Berlin. TIFF is the largest film festival in Asia featuring 975 featured films from 76 countries around the world. Premiering with Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away, TIFF features other acclaimed films as Trouble with the Curve, Argo, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and many more. Running October 20th – 28th, 2012, the Tokyo International Film Festival is held in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills. Link
