Celebrating its 4th year, the 2012 Brighton Japan Festival has grown to become the largest annual Japanese cultural festival in the UK. Running June 22 – July 1, 2012, the eight day festival offers the venues, businesses, and communities the city of Brighton & Hove has to offer with a unique platform of Japan-related arts, technology, design and business to inspire, excite, and enrich. “The festival aims to bring both traditional and modern Japanese art and culture to UK audiences, from taiko drumming and beautiful theatre based on art in origami, to the cutting-edge sub-culture of Gothic Lolita fashion and Cosplay.” Link
