Designed by Japanese fashion designer, Issey Miyake, “IN-EI” is a series of lampshades crafted for Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide. Consisting of three lamp arrangements – table, floor and hanging, “IN-EI” or Japanese for shadow was inspired by Issey Mikayke’s 132.5 origami clothing line, where three-dimensional geometric patterns could fold flat. The lampshades are constructed with a fibrous fabric derived from recycled PET plastic bottles, which diffuses light beautifully. Link
