Disney + NTT DoCoMo

NTT DoCoMo, Japan’s telecommunication giant in partnership with The Walt Disney Company (Japan) Ltd. will soon introduce an exclusive smartphone brand to the Japanese market. Called Disney Mobile on DoCoMo, the partnership will launch two new Android-powered models within the next couple of months and will feature exclusive multimedia content and themed interface from Disney.

Launching in late February, the F-08D model will feature a 4.3-inch HD LCD display, 16 MP rear shutter and VGA web camera, 1.2GHz dual-core OMAP4430 CPU and is available in pink or white colorway with a Micky and Minnie Mouse silhouette-themed interface. The lower-end P-05D model, releasing in March features a 4.3-inch OLED screen, 7.8mm thick frame, 1GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual-core CPU, 8 MP rear shutter camera and is available in black.

Exclusive content and services for the partnership includes direct access to Disney full-length movies, digital content from Disney such as game and music applications, live wallpapers and more. Through the partnership, the handsets also offer direct access to DoCoMo services such as Mobile Wallet and One-Seg. Both models are exclusive to the Japanese market. Link, Link
