25 Jan Baskin Robbins Opens in Ho Chi Minh City
American ice cream parlor chain, Baskin Robbins recently opened its first flagship store in Ho Chi Minh City. In partnership with Vietnamese food manufacturing company, Blue Star Foods, Baskin Robbins has signed a master franchise agreement to develop the brand in the Southeast Asian country. 50 Baskin Robbins restaurants are expected to be opened over the next few years, adding to Baskin Robbins 6,600 locations in nearly 50 countries.
Baskin Robbins three-story Ho Chi Minh City restaurant features a new international store design including lounge-style seating, iconic “pink spoon” door handles, interactive LCD menu displays and textured walls reminiscent of Baskin Robbins waffle cones. In addition to a new design, Baskin Robbins has also adapted the menu for the Vietnamese palate, offering traditional Southeast Asian flavors alongside its traditional American favorites such as Green Tea and Mango.
