Starting this month McDonald’s Japan will be offering four new chicken sandwiches called “iCon Chicken” to their menu for a limited time. Available one at a time and for half a month each, the currently available sandwich is the Cheese Fondue. Starting at the end of October, the German Sausage will be available, followed by the Diavolo during the first two weeks of November and Carbonara from mid-November until the end of the month. Following the success of Japan’s premium chicken sandwiches and tenders, McDonald’s Japan hopes to convince their customers that aside from offering burgers, they are the place to go when it comes to chicken.
