Celebrating its 7th year, the 2018 New York Japan CineFest (NYJCF) is a unique showcase of Japanese and Japan-themed short films to an American audience. Running June 6-7, 2018, NYJCF is the first and only festival of its kind, focusing and promoting Japanese independent filmmakers from around the world.

Consisting of a program of 12 short films, this year’s New York Japan CineFest continues to highlight some of the most exciting voices from emerging Japanese and Japanese American filmmakers. This year’s featured lineup includes First Samurai in New York, Sugihara Survivors: Jewish and Japanese, Past and Future, A Girl Untouchable, And So We Put Goldfish in the Pool, All Alone in Kamiyama and many more. Learn more >
