11 Jan Häagen-Dazs Mochi Sakura An
In celebration of the upcoming cherry blossom season, United States-based premium ice cream producer, Häagen-Dazs has recently announced a new ice cream flavor for the Japanese market. Called the Mochi Sakura An flavor, the ice cream consists of three layers of cherry blossom-themed flavors. The first layer consists of sakura ice cream with a layer of soft mochi rice cake topped with sweet and salty sakura an sweet bean paste as the second layer. Lastly, the third layer consists of sakura sauce drizzled over the top two layers.
Available just in time for Japan’s traditional Hanami – celebration welcoming the arrival of spring, the Mochi Sakura An flavor is available to purchase through select supermarkets and convenience stores in Japan for ¥324 ($2.90 USD) starting February 27, 2018. Link
