Ringing in the New Years and the Year of the Dog, the 2018 Oshogatsu Family Festival celebrates a full day of fun arts and crafts, games, exciting cultural activities and performances for the entire family. Running January 7, 2018 at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, watch Shan the Candyman make dog candy sculptures in addition to learning how to make your own dog-inspired crafts, origami, and coloring activities, sample traditional Japanese New Year foods, join Kodama Taiko as they perform a demonstration of mochitsuki, a traditional rice cake pounding ceremony and much more. Learn more >
