Celebrating its 11th year, the 2017 Korean American Film Festival New York (KAFFNY) is the first and only film festival in New York City showcasing the best of Korean-American and Korean diaspora perspectives in film. Running September 28 and October 14, 2017, KAFFNY has evolved to showcase an expanding diversity of perspectives, local and global. Beyond film in addition to highlighting work by artists and musicians.
Consisting of a collection of short films focusing on an array of different stories, this year’s Korean American Film Festival New York kicks off with Stairwell, My Love, 140 Characters and The Luring. The festival continues on October 14 with the screening of I’m Here, Too, Fractured, Mom, Angeltown, Fault, Family, The Last Tour, Amsterdam Stories USA, Cooking With Granny and many more.
