Celebrating its 79th year, the 2017 Los Angeles Chinatown Mid-Autumn Moon Festival celebrates tradition in a modern way with the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival or Zhongqiu. Considered one of the most important East Asian festivals of the year, the festival dates back over 3,000 years and is a celebration marking the end of the summer harvest.

Held in Los Angeles’ Chinatown’s historic Central and West Plaza on October 7, 2017, attendees of all ages can enjoy traditional Chinese dances, martial arts, acrobats, ping-pong tournament, food trucks in addition to gazing at the harvest moon and not to mention eating moon cakes. Learn more >
