ICON, after growing began to work as a consultant for Toyota and began to handle special projects such as outfitting vehicles for special events. Eventually, ICON developed prototypes of what became the 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser and later brought the question to revisit the classic FJ40 Land Cruiser. Currently, ICON is offering their version of the classic Toyota Land Cruiser, the Icon FJ Series for $126,ooo and up. The FJ features a 5.3 liter, 350hp V8 engine, four-wheel disc brakes, Marine-rated vinyl on the seats, Atlas II transfer case, aluminum knobs, sport pedals, optional soft top, aeronautics-inspired dash panels and an Teflon polyester hybrid powder coat.
