Apple Shanghai

Opening July 10, 2010 Apple opens its latest location in Shanghai. Inspired by the New York Fifth Avenue store with the glass cube entrance, the Shanghai entrance uses some of the largest pieces of glass in the world to construct the cylindrical store. The glass cylinder represents a pebble dropped into a pond, and the concentric circles represent ripples of water and the energy that radiates throughout China. The Shanghai Apple store is located in the Pudong financial district, located amongst popular landmark buildings such as the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Center. Link
